11/19/18 Post Cleanup Report Power Poles

PacOut Green Team was back out at Samoa Beach for an event at Power Poles/Samoa Beach Park sponsored by Lost Coast Rotaract-Eureka. The original planned event included cleaning up across the bridges but the fog was so thick that the decision was made to cancel that part due to safety concerns. The team was able to cleanup the roadsides, parking area, beach and dunes around the Power Poles area. Items found included a mattress, a pallet, several bags of trash, a thigh master, lots of cigarette butts and lot of recycling (cans, plastic and glass bottles). The total weight was around 600 lb.
