11/7/17 Post Cleanup Report Samoa Beach Bay St

We had another good turn out of 12 awesome volunteers to help out at our Samoa Beach Bay St. event this past Saturday, 11/4! We cleaned up the beach, the dunes, the parking area and the roadsides for a mile in either direction from the Bay St parking area. We found a couple of televisions, a shopping cart from Bed Bath and Beyond (all the way out at Samoa Beach!), and lots of other stuff! The weather was awesome and we made a big dent in the trash out that way!

This event was dedicated to Faye Hanson, a fellow environmental steward who recently passed away, per request of her friends and family at Hiking and Foraging Finds FB group.
