Jason and his staff at STIL are amazing stewards of the environment, so when he asked for a hand cleaning up along Broadway across from his business, PacOut Green Team was quick to react! The rain stopped just in time and held off while we hauled a thousands of pounds of trash from the property above Broadway, the hillside, and roadside. One abandoned campsite produced a most of the 400+ sharps! The sharps were so bad we had to create a sharps triage mat so we can count them all before we put them into the containers. Thank you to the approximately 38 volunteers who made a big difference in only 60 minutes! And thank you to Jason for the wonderful giveaways and gift certificates. We appreciate you!
