Rio Dell Cleanup Event Details – In collaboration with the Rio Del River Cleanup Group
Location:
Main Street, just South of the bridge. You can take the first Southbound Scotia Exit, then turn Right and head towards RioDell on Main Street. You will see us on the Right hand side of the road right before you cross the Main Street bridge.
Parking:
Please feel free to park along Main Street
Cleanup Area:
Our focus will be on the Ell River watershed and river banks. Garbage will need to be retreived from the river banks.
Event Schedule:
We will meet at our our start up locaiton (along Main Street, just South of the Main Street bridge that crosses the Eel River) at 8:45 am to sign in. The cleanup will commence at 9:00 am and end at 10:30 am. We will gather for a group photo and raffle at 10:15 am.
We are also seeking donations for raffle items to reward our incredible volunteers. If you’re interested in contributing, we’re looking for small-dollar items and gift cards ($10-$20 value). Email us at PacOutGreenTeam@gmail.com
This year marks our 10th anniversary, and we couldn’t continue without the support of our community. Thanks to your help over the past decade, we are on track to surpass one million pounds of garbage collected.
