Good News! Normally we pick up 1,500 – 2,500 lbs of garbage and when the 90 minutes is over, theres generally a lot we have to leave behind. During this cleanup we only picked up 350 lbs of garbage and we picked up everything we found! We tried to find more, but didn’t. We hope this is a new trend for Blue Lake. It seems that our efforts and other people efforts are paying off.Hashtag #pogt and/or #pacoutgreenteam in your cleanup photos. If you use our hashtags we will include them in our Post Cleanup Reports! Great turnout this weekend in Blue Lake. Cleanup Details:Volunteers: 20Weight: 340 lbs, 1 large marine battery, lots of little garbage, and more of miscellaneous trash! We focused on picking up along side the road on Blue Lake Boulevard, Glendale Road, and near the Mad River.Time: 90 Minute Trash BashSponsor: Blue Lake Casino & HotelJoin us this Saturday at South G Street/Arcata Marsh entrance for 60 minutes!
