Adopt-A-Highway Cleanup: Focusing on the Three Bridges from Eureka to Samoa
Location:
Our Adopt-A-Highway project this week is centered on the three bridges that link Eureka to Samoa.
Parking:
We will meet at the first parking lot on the left at Woodly Island at 8:45am. If you’re heading to the Woodly Island Marina from Eureka, take the first exit after crossing the first bridge.
Cleanup Area:
Once checked in, you will be given cleanup supplies. Then you can either walk to the bridges from the parking lot or drive to any section of the bridge, find a safe spot to pull over and collect garbage. All garbage collected can be left on the side of the road. Our POGT garbage hauler will pick up all the bags.
Event Schedule:
Check in starts at 8:45am. The cleanup will last from 9:00am to 10:00am. At 9:45am we will meet back at the check in location located at the Woodly Island parking lot. From there we will take a group photo and hold our weekly raffle.
