Mad River Park Cleanup Event Details
Location:
Meet at the end of Carlson Park Dr., which is located just North of Tractor Supply. Look for TP Tire – the Carlson Park Dr. is directly across from it.
Parking:
Please feel free to park on Carlson Park Dr. or Mad River Parkway E. From there, walk to the end of Carlson Park Dr. beyond the gate where we will be set up.
Cleanup Area:
Our focus will be on the trails between Mad River Pkwy E and the banks of the Mad River. It is crucial that we collect garbage before it enters the river, as we want to maintain its beauty and keep it family-friendly. Dogs are welcome to join us too!
Event Schedule:
We will meet at Mad River Pkwy E at 8:45 am to sign in. The cleanup will commence at 9:00 am and end at 10:00 am. We will gather for a group photo and raffle at 9:45 am.
We are also seeking donations for raffle items to reward our incredible volunteers. If you’re interested in contributing, we’re looking for small-dollar items and gift cards ($10-$20 value). Email us at PacOutGreenTeam@gmail.com
This year marks our 10th anniversary, and we couldn’t continue without the support of our community. Thanks to your help over the past decade, we are on track to surpass one million pounds of garbage collected.
