Samoa Beach/Bay Street
Location:
This weeks cleanup will be held at the Elk River Park and Ride, located at the South end of Eureka. This is also the South entrance of Eureka’s bay front trail.
Parking:
Please feel free to park in the Park N’ Ride parking lot on the West side of HWY 101.
Cleanup Area:
We will focus on the roadsides along Elk River Rd and Herrick Ave, areas around the South entrance to the Eureka Waterfront Trail, the Elk River Park and Ride parking lot, and the Eureka Waterfront Trail.
Event Schedule:
We will meet at the Bay Street parking lot at 8:45 am to sign in. The cleanup will commence at 9:00 am and end at 10:00 am. We will gather for a group photo and raffle at 9:45 am.
We are also seeking donations for raffle items to reward our incredible volunteers. If you’re interested in contributing, we’re looking for small-dollar items and gift cards ($10-$20 value). Email us at PacOutGreenTeam@gmail.com
This year marks our 10th anniversary, and we couldn’t continue without the support of our community. Thanks to your help over the past decade, we are on track to surpass one million pounds of garbage collected.
