Adopt-A-Highway Cleanup: Focusing on the Three Bridges from Eureka to Samoa
Our Adopt-A-Highway project this week is centered on the three bridges that link Eureka to Samoa. We will meet at the first parking lot on the left at Woodly Island at 8:45am. If you’re heading to the Woodly Island Marina from Eureka, take the first exit after crossing the first bridge. Once checked in, you will be given cleanup supplies to collect the garbage, and then you can proceed to park safely on the shoulder between the bridges.
The cleanup will last from 9:00am to 10:00am, and all the garbage will be left in bags along the highway for our PacOut Green Team vehicle to pick up. At 9:45am we will meet back at the check in location located at the Woodly Island parking lot. From there we will take a group photo and hold our weekly raffle.
We are also seeking donations for raffle items to reward our incredible volunteers. If you’re interested in contributing, we’re looking for small-dollar items and gift cards ($10-$20 value). Email us at PacOutGreenTeam@gmail.com
This year marks our 10th anniversary, and we couldn’t continue without the support of our community. Thanks to your help over the past decade, we are on track to surpass one million pounds of garbage collected.
Tell your friends, share the link, and show your support. We can’t wait to see you there!
