Join McKinleyville’s Bi-Monthly 90 Minute Trash Bash
Let’s come together to clean up McKinleyville’s roadsides, turnouts, parks and open spaces, and remove litter for 90 minutes!
Location:
Meet at the NorthCoast Awning parking lot located at Central Avenue, next to Humboldt Sanitation, at 8:45 am to sign in.
Parking:
You can park in the NorthCoast Awning parking lot to get checked in. Then from there you can walk or drive to the location you want to cleanup. We will have a list of all areas that need your help.
Cleanup Area:
We are focusing on the entire town of McKinleyville. That includes roadsides, parks, trails, pull outs, green belts, etc. If you don’t know where to go, we will direct you to a location that needs your help.
Event Schedule:
Check in starts at 8:45am. The cleanup will begin at 9:00 am until 10:30 am, and a large dumpster will be provided in the back lot of NorthCoast Awning for waste disposal. At 10:15 am, we will meet behind NorthCoast Awning at the dumpster location to take a group photo and hold our weekly raffle.
We are also seeking donations for raffle items to reward our incredible volunteers. If you’re interested in contributing, we’re looking for small-dollar items and gift cards ($10-$20 value). Email us at PacOutGreenTeam@gmail.com
