Arcata Marsh Cleanup Event Details
Location:
Meet at the train tracks that run across “I” street as you are heading to the Arcata Marsh. Before you get there, there is a parking lot on your Left as you are driving down “I” street heading to the Arcata Marsh.
Parking:
Please feel free to park in the Parking Lot on your Left just before the meet up spot, just past the Train Tracks on “I” street.
Cleanup Area:
Our focus will be on the trails around the Arcata Marsh, specifically the trash and abandoned homeless camps just East of Brackish, Eastern, & Western ponds.
Event Schedule:
We will meet on “I” street just past the train tracks at 8:45 am to sign in. The cleanup will commence at 9:00 am and end at 10:00 am. We will gather for a group photo and raffle at 9:45 am.
We are also seeking donations for raffle items to reward our incredible volunteers. If you’re interested in contributing, we’re looking for small-dollar items and gift cards ($10-$20 value). Email us at PacOutGreenTeam@gmail.com
This year marks our 10th anniversary, and we couldn’t continue without the support of our community. Thanks to your help over the past decade, we are on track to surpass one million pounds of garbage collected.
