8/29 HUMBOLDT Post Cleanup Report Samoa Boat Launch
Another awesome collaboration with Surfrider Humboldt and Northcoast Environmental Center(NEC) out at Samoa Boat Launch! This heavily used area needs a some tlc every couple of months so we try to make sure that happens routinely. The group found lots of the usual litter, such as bottles, cans, cigarette butts, and all sorts of other trash, as well as a few larger items, including a recliner chair. It’s nice to see a place looking a lot cleaner after a short but intensive 60 minute cleanup. It’s amazing what can be done in such a short time with just a few dedicated people!
