Coast Central Credit Union has generously granted us $5,000 for homeless outreach supplies, an opportunity we deeply appreciate. Our engagement with the homeless community is frequent through our 60 and 90-minute cleanups. The Socks for Trash initiative has received significant assistance from the homeless community in bagging trash around their camps for us to collect. With this grant, we can enhance the program by providing more than just socks to acknowledge their efforts in maintaining clean camps. Now, we can offer additional items like hygiene kits, first aid kits, survival supplies, ponchos, and more.
