8/17/24 – Post Cleanup Report – Bay Street – Samoa Peninsula

The weather forecast predicted thunder, lightning, and rain for the day. The lower turnout may have been influenced by the expected weather. Fortunately, there was no thunder, lightning, and only minimal rain during the cleanup. The Samoa peninsula remains in good condition, with minimal garbage found. Kathleen and Jeff, both POGT Hall of Famers, collected a significant amount of old rusty car body parts, which accounted for most of the weight. A big thank you to all the volunteers, both new and regular, who braved the weather conditions to participate!
