4/26/25 – Post Cleanup Report – McKinleyville 90 Minute Trash Bash
A small yet impactful group of volunteers gathered for Saturday’s McKinleyville Trash Bash, successfully filling most of the dumpster. We ventured out to collect litter throughout McKinleyville, including along Murray Rd. We came across plenty of “FREE” furniture and bags of clothing that had been damaged by the weather. Please keep in mind that “FREE” piles are considered illegal dumping. If you wish to donate items, kindly take them to one of our many second-hand stores; we have a plethora of options available. “FREE” piles can contribute to blight in our neighborhoods, and our weather often ruins what is left out. A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers who participated! For more details, visit our cleanup calendar at www.PacOutGreenTeam.org.
If you’re interested in supporting our weekly cleanups, please consider donating raffle prizes such as gift cards or items with a value of around $10-$20. Contact us at pacoutgreenteam@gmail.com to learn more.
