This cleanup was a tremendous success! In just 90 minutes, we filled our 40-yard dumpster to the brim. Along the way, we discovered several abandoned camps and some additional trash that had been dumped at the entrance.

A heartfelt thank you to all our incredible volunteers—both new faces and our loyal regulars. We truly couldn’t do this without your support. Special thanks to Eco Eureka for organizing the dumpster and assisting us with their truck for transporting the waste.

This area really needed some tender loving care, and it looks significantly improved now. We look forward to seeing everyone this Saturday at Oysterfest! Please note that we will not be hosting a cleanup this Saturday, as many volunteers and board members will be busy at the PacOut Green Team beer booth. Join us to enjoy delicious oysters, great music, refreshing beer, and the spirit of community!
