8/16/25 – Post Cleanup Report – Eureka Waterfront Trail – Walmart Parking Lot

The weather wasn’t really in our favor for this cleanup. We had about 20 minutes of rain, but since it stayed warm and humid, it didn’t slow our volunteers down. We came across lots of small piles of trash throughout the waterfront trail and managed to fill most of the dumpsters.

One highlight of the day was being able to give a survival backpack to a member of the unhoused community who joined us and helped pick up trash. Our relationship with the unhoused community remains strong, and we truly value working alongside them to care for our shared spaces.

We are always grateful for the donations we receive to support our cleanup efforts. We welcome raffle items for our volunteers and donations towards our cleanup fund. If you have small denomination gift cards you’d like to donate ($10), please email us at pacoutgreenteam@gmail.com.
