11/8/25 – Post Cleanup Report – Eureka Waterfront Trail – Del Norte Pier & Dog Park
๐ฟ Waterfront Trail Cleanup Success!
This morning we sent volunteers in both directions along the Waterfront Trail, and thanks to a heads-up from EPD, we tackled an abandoned camp near the Del Norte Pier Dog Park at the end of the peninsula. ๐๐ช
We drove the Rhino out to the site and cleared it, then discovered even more debris tossed into the wetlands between the trail and the dump. Several volunteers also located a large abandoned camp near the mall, and we made multiple Rhino trips to clean that one as well.
In just 60 minutes, we filled up most of our large 20-yard dumpster! ๐
Absolutely incredible work by todayโs crew.
