12/20/25 – Post Cleanup Report – Eureka Waterfront Trail – Del Norte Pier & Dog Park
🌤️🧹 What a Beautiful Cleanup Morning! 🧹🌿
It was a gorgeous Saturday morning and the perfect way to start the weekend. Just a reminder — you’re in and out in 60 minutes, and every minute makes a difference!
This cleanup focused on the wetlands just south and east of Del Norte Pier Park. We were able to tackle several large, waterlogged items that we couldn’t remove last time by dragging them up to dry — and successfully picked them up today. Even so, there were still plenty of wet items pulled from the wetlands.
We also collected a large amount of trash along the waterfront trail north of Del Norte Pier Park.
🗑️ Impact Check:
✔️ 20-yard dumpster filled to about 60%
✔️ That’s over 1,000 pounds of trash removed
Because of you, the Eureka Waterfront Trail is cleaner than we found it 💚
🙏 Huge thank you to everyone who showed up and put in the work — our volunteers make everything possible.
🎁 Raffle Donations Needed!
We’re looking for $10 gift cards from local businesses to support our weekly raffle for volunteers. Without volunteers, we have nothing — and these small-denomination gift cards help support both our cleanup crew and local businesses.
Let’s keep showing up, cleaning up, and supporting one another 💪🌎
