Another great cleanup in the books for McKinleyville! Volunteers split up and focused on several areas throughout town, tackling litter and illegal dumping spots.
Our trash hauler trailer drove around picking up the bags our crews collected, and we ended up filling the trailer multiple times. In just 90 minutes, we filled about half of a dumpster. Unfortunately, we also came across quite a few “free” piles around town that had clearly turned into littering and dumping sites.
It rained on us a little during the cleanup, but that didn’t slow our crew down one bit. 💪
A huge thank you to everyone who showed up to help keep McKinleyville clean. Your effort truly makes a difference.

Over the last 4 months, our team collected 126 lbs of needles, which we safely dropped off after this cleanup. (See photos.)
