🌿♻️ Post Cleanup Report – Blue Lake 60 Minute Trash Bash ♻️🌿

It may have been a smaller crew, but this was a great example of quality over quantity! 💪

With just 7 dedicated volunteers, we divided and conquered, spreading out to cover more ground and maximize our impact. Our primary focus was the road leading out to the old hatchery and Blue Lake Boulevard as it climbs toward Highway 299—areas that unfortunately collect a steady stream of litter from passing traffic.

While the turnout was modest, our volunteers worked hard and made a noticeable difference. In just 60 minutes, we removed an estimated 450 pounds of garbage and debris from the area. Every bag collected helps keep trash out of nearby waterways, protects wildlife, and makes our community a cleaner and more enjoyable place for everyone.

A huge thank you to everyone who showed up and put in the effort. Cleanups like this prove that even a small group of motivated people can accomplish a lot when they work together. 🙌
