8/12/17 Post Clean Up Report of Perkins Russian River Overpass sponsored by Savings Bank of Mendocino County
Another beautiful day to dig up trash! This week we were at the Perkins Russian River Overpass. Though our group was small it was full of fire and fight! With 18 people showing up we had many return Green Teamers and some first timers as well.
Here’s our stats for the day, 9 bags of trash, 5 shopping carts, one retail bin, 2 tires, 1 disc brake (aka fire pit?) and a whole lot of nasty clothes. Though we did find two live camps there were no incidents and I was able to follow up on those later in the day. All shopping carts were also returned to their respective stores too. Total garbage came in at 270 pounds.
We kept finding clothes so we tried to make a complete outfit! Almost got there LOL
This shopping cart was buried in the mud, he had to use a shovel to dig it out! Way to go!
This Green and Yellow cart has RTV (Return to Vendor) written on the side of it. These are great carts I imagine it was stolen from a local business. If anyone knows who it might belong to I’m somewhat happy to return it, otherwise I’ll make good use of it 😉
I almost forgot to mention the the local Boys & Girls Club of Ukiah came to show some love. And apparently my double chin too!
Thanks again to Savings Bank of Mendocino County for your second of three sponsored clean ups!
