POST CLEANUP Report Ukiah Rail Trail Part 2
What an awesomely efficient crew! Today we were supposed to clean the Rail Trail from Perkins to Clay St. We were so fast we managed to clean all the way to Gobi then back to Clara. Total trash today came to 860 lbs. (including some more Low Gap trash) and several new folks showed up to lend a hand. We love that we’re still generating new and excited volunteers. We found a variety of treasures, including a treasure box with a love note, a Holy Qur-An and to top it all off, it was Alice’s birthday so we all wore party hats for the group photo to celebrate while she had brunch at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco! Believe it or not she cried because she was going to miss Pac Out Green Team and thought she was being selfish.
