3/3/18 Post Cleanup Report Old Town/Eureka Waterfront

What and awesome turnout for our Old Town Eureka/Waterfront event! We had 26 people despite the cold and the threat of rain in the forecast! A big part of the volunteer force was made up of employees from Coast Seafood Pacific Shellfish Div., the sponsors of the event and long time PacOut Green Team supporters. The total trash weight for the day was an estimated 500 lb. Among today’s finds were a tire, a razor scooter, lots of plastic containers, and the usual gazillion cigarette butts on the sidewalks and in the gutters.
