4/20/24 – Post Cleanup Report – Eureka Waterfront Trail – Walmart Parking Lot
Successful Cleanup Efforts and Outreach with PacOut Green Team
The weather was beautiful for our annual Earth Day cleanup event. We concentrated on a part of the Eureka Waterfront Trail behind the mall and had a fantastic turnout. Before starting, we provided garbage bags to the camps along the trail and informed them about the supplies available for their efforts. After just 60 minutes, we were close to filling the container! Everyone did an amazing job collecting and bagging the garbage, placing it along the trail for our PacOut Green Team Rhino to collect. We are truly grateful to the community for supporting our Rhino UTV through generous donations, which has significantly increased our cleanup capacity. A big thank you to Green Ox, Ince, and Humboldt Homegrown for generously rewarding our volunteers with fantastic prize packages, including Cannifest tickets for those over 21. We appreciate everyone who joined us in celebrating Earth Day and remember, every day is Earth Day. The section of the Eureka Waterfront Trail is now looking beautiful. Thank you to all!
We are always grateful for the donations we receive to support our cleanup efforts. We welcome raffle items for our volunteers and donations towards our cleanup fund.
