6/22/24 – Post Cleanup Report – Carlson Park – Arcata

There are numerous positive developments occurring at Carlson Park, and once completed, it will be an incredible park. The ongoing efforts are aimed at increasing community utilization and reducing litter. When you’re at Giuntoli next time, be sure to visit. Our focus was on the park and the adjacent streets, where we collaborated with the homeless community. They collected their own trash for us, we provided them with socks, blankets, and other essentials. Special thanks to the City of Arcata for supplying a trash can and to all the dedicated volunteers who contributed to giving Carlson Park the care it deserves. We are grateful to Councilmember Kimberley White for her support; it’s always rewarding to collaborate with our local representatives.
