9/14/24 – Post Cleanup Report – Greenbelts along Broadway
Today’s mission was to clean up all the greenbelts on the East side of Broadway, specifically between Les Schwab and Bayshore Mall. We dispatched teams that accomplished a significant amount of cleanup within just 60 minutes. Additionally, we focused on the greenbelt area behind MOD and Chipotle, which had accumulated a lot of garbage from the homeless community residing there. In an effort to assist, we distributed several trash bags to the individuals living in that area, hoping they would use them for their waste. Overall, we made a positive difference in that section of Broadway. A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers who participated, the City of Eureka for providing a dumpster, and Jason from STIL for partnering with us to help clean up this area.
We are always grateful for the donations we receive to support our cleanup efforts. We welcome raffle items for our volunteers and donations towards our cleanup fund.
