9/21/24 – Post Cleanup Report – Power Poles – Samoa Peninsula
This cleanup event was a great success in honor of National Coastal Cleanup Day! Overall, Samoa Beach appeared to be in good shape. Compared to previous years, it’s finally receiving the tender loving care it deserves thanks to the efforts of various community groups. We came across numerous small pieces of litter along the roads, in the parking lot, and on the dunes, including many cigarette butts. It’s refreshing to pay attention to the little things every now and then. A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers, especially the kids and adults from the 124 Redwood Rangers. It takes a compassionate and proactive community to keep our delicate outdoor spaces free from litter. Thank you!
We are always grateful for the donations we receive to support our cleanup efforts. We welcome raffle items for our volunteers and donations towards our cleanup fund.
