Fortuna Cleanup Recap 🌎💚
We had another great turnout for our latest cleanup in Fortuna—thank you to everyone who came out and gave just 90 minutes to make a big difference!
Our team made the rounds through all the usual hot spots in town. To our surprise, the area behind the Safeway shopping center—normally one of our heaviest-hit areas—had very little garbage this time. That’s a huge win! 👏
Of course, we still found plenty of trash scattered around town and along the riverbank. Every bag we filled was another step toward protecting our community, wildlife, and waterways.
A big thank you to all the volunteers who showed up, laced up their gloves, and embodied the motto: “Be the change you want to see.” 🌟
