8/22/26 – Post Cleanup Report – Eureka Waterfront Trail – Walmart Parking Lot
โป๏ธ๐ฟ Post Cleanup Report โ Eureka Waterfront Trail (Behind Walmart) ๐ฟโป๏ธ
What a fantastic way to kick off the weekend! ๐
The team made a move to the Eureka Waterfront Trail behind Walmart and ended up removing quite a mound of trash from the trail and surrounding areas.
In just 60 minutes, our volunteers removed more than 2,300 pounds of trash and debris, almost filling an entire 20-yard dumpster. It just goes to show, many hands make for light work – and a big community impact!ย
๐ A huge thank you to all 18 volunteers who showed up and worked hard to improve this important waterfront area. Your efforts help keep garbage out of Humboldt Bay, protect wildlife and make our trails more enjoyable for all.
๐ Want to support our mission?
We’re always looking for raffle prizes and gift cards to reward our volunteers. If you’d like to donate, please email or join us at the next scheduled cleanup:
