3/8/25 – Post Cleanup Report – HWY 255 – Adopt A Highway
Today was another beautiful day along our Adopt-A-Highway, located by the three bridges on HWY 255. We enjoyed a fantastic turnout and managed to collect a significant amount of litter around Woodly Island, Tuluwat Island, and at the intersection on Samoa Peninsula.
Additionally, we gathered a large batch of needles discovered in Eureka beneath the bridge. Overall, it was a successful day, and our Adopt-A-Highway area looks fantastic right now. It was Issac Ostrom’s (PacOut Green Team Hall-Of-Famer) birthday and he was blessed with a birthday cake after the cleanup! Big 14 year old now! A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers who participated!
