Special 90-Minute Cleanup on Blue Lake Blvd

This was a dedicated 90-minute cleanup focusing on Blue Lake Blvd, which stretches from Maple Creek Rd to HWY 299. Unfortunately, this road has become a dumping ground for many illegal disposers, as every pullout showed signs of such activities. We set up our base at the bottom of the hill and ventured up Blue Lake Blvd to various pullouts, all the way to HWY 299.

A heartfelt thank you to Real Deal Removal and Hauling for providing us with a dumpster for this cleanup. We couldn’t have accomplished this without their generous support. Several trucks made continuous trips up and down the hill, transporting the collected garbage to the dumpster they provided.

Along Blue Lake Blvd, we discovered a wide array of household trash, including:

• Household waste
• Appliances
• Yard equipment
• A burnt-out Yamaha Rhino
• Tires
• And much more!

Everyone put in tremendous effort, and together we made a significant positive impact along Blue Lake Blvd.

At the end of the cleanup, Blue Lake Casino surprised us with a $15,000 check as part of their first-quarter fundraiser! This is a monumental boost for us, considering we are completely volunteer-run. It means that every dollar will be reinvested to keep our delicate outdoor spaces clean and litter-free.
