Cleanup Details: This was another HUGE cleanup. This time we focused on the South/East side of the green belt. We had a little smaller turnout than the first cleanup here, however, we still overfilled the 20 yard dumpster! We teamed up again with John Shelter and his team at The People of New Directions, Eureka Police Department, and Humboldt County Office of Education. John Shelter busted out his winch for this cleanup. It made it a lot easier hauling 100+ lbs bags of garbage up the hill to the street. We only picked up around a dozen syringes during this cleanup! Our volunteers kicked major butt Saturday. Please note, this greenbelt was a HUGE mess. Not all PacOut Green Team cleanups are this bad. We will be back to this place in a few weeks to focus on Round 3.
